The Paddy’s Day Parade in Birmingham is one of the largest outside of Dublin and always brings a great atmosphere to the Irish Quarter; Digbeth. Parade day has always been special as I was at one time at the event as part of the Sunday team with Radio WM. These days I head down there with a camera to capture the atmosphere and in 2009 actually had a very special ride on a float.
Birmingham’s premier Irish Band named The Teds asked if I’d like to sort out photography for them on parade day, jumping at the chance of course I said yes and so this photo here of The Rainbow public house was taken from their float on the day. Head over to The Teds on MySpace.
