Thinking about it, music is hugely powerful. It can also capture a time and a space brilliantly. At a time when I was younger music was a way of articulating something I struggled to in polite conversation.

It&#039;s why people felt so sad when John Peel died. It may have been years since they last listened. But they felt the excitement of hovering over the pause button at 11 o&#039; clock at night waiting for a new &#039;B&#039; side by The Smiths...</description>
