Band formed in the musical hive that is Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield no less than 30 minutes up the road from me …. Jazzy group, please do it, please go to overplay and listen to these guys, they have only had 5 plays on overplay.co.uk. One of the best groups I’ve heard on overplay in a very long time. Also since when has there been a Birmingham Music Awards show? Last year apprently!

I found this podcast from the comfort in sound Livejournal community : illumination Audio, really great podcast playing mainly podsafe music with minimal chat. Just listening to show #21 and The Innocence Mission get a track featured, this after Glastonburypodcasting played a track from the band too.

Robyn over at diskobox.net had introduced me to the wonderfully strange vocals of the bands lead singer, via a CD sent at Christmas. I think if marooned on a desert island (made of deserts of course) Robyn would be in a select group of people that would make being stranded not so bad.

It certainly is a small podo/blogosphere!

Brum could very well be the place to produce podcasts as David Gregory meets two Birmingham based, BusCasters, almost live from Route 12, showing a local push on a very national mission, the BBC are really exploring these here podcast things people are yapping about!
