Fan Park : Birmingham’s world cup area

Fan park is Birminghams controlled world cup viewing area, behold the Magenta overload!

As seen from a distance there is a huge and I mean huge wall chart hung over Birmingham’s science museum

Flags of the nations taking part sweep you into the main area. A meet and greet person gives you a guided tour if you’ve not been before.

To the left there is a beach soccer stadium

To the right an area of astroturf where people can gather to watch the big screen, play on various inflatable skill testers or just have a kick about

On a raised decking type area there are tables and benches, a cafe and a bar, this is the bar

And this is the bar again, which has sofas

Brazils first game shown here, someone is playing with light sabers, well not really
