Echos of humanity

I just bumped my elbow on my desk (which is in very close proximity to the bed) anyway a speaker fell off, hit the window sill. That’s the boring but esential lead in to this post.

It reminds me partly of the plot of Frequency. I’m getting interference on all surround sound speakers of some kind of foreign speech programme, it sounds European, I guess shortwave radio. Fading in and out, this is not uncommon at all and is a well known effect of the ionosphere. Want to know something else? This morning in this area we had troubles with radio recpetion, it was mentioned on Radio WM and affected areas were marked out by very local M6 junction numbers so all the way to work I had radio problems.

Yesterday I had no signal on at least 10 otherwise perfectly fine freeview channels, and the mobile has been out of whack at home. So going back to the ionosphere, there must be something happening there, extra energy at that level of some kind. We are just getting over a recent gemomagnetic storm, which didn’t come from the sun, waoooooh, there was a recent burst of energy from a distant sector of the milky way, I guess someone elses sun blowing up … I kid you not! I know it sounds geeky but it seems very interesting.

Read as a sign of a shift of energy …. welcome to the Jordy zone!
