Just thought I’d add this in from MetCheck.com. Reel Feel 28oc for us tonight around 9pm, it’s gonna be a sticky night. Let’s hope for no apparent freak weather eh? This could be quite a downpour for South England. The thunder without the floods and high winds if possible for the Midlands would be great.
“Heavy showers, thunderstorms and more persistent torrential rain is now effecting a large portion of Southwestern England, Wales and more Northern parts of Ireland. Some localised torrential downpours will lead to some localised flooding, winds will be gusty and hail is also possible. These conditions will continue to progress Northwards and Eastwards extending the risk into the Midlands and also Northwest England initially within the next 2 to 4 hours.
Travelling conditions will be hazardous due to excessive amounts of surface water.”
