Day turned to night above football stadium

Downed trees, more like jungle than road
later in the day : “two reported tornadoes londonsnow - 3441st post - 28 Jul 2005 17:58 today then. first in birmingham (T3-4) second in peterborough(reports on this sketchy)”
It could be the worst tornado in recent living memory, if not then the worst to hit mainland Britian. What a month! I was driving home from work, as I got progressivly closer to Brum the roads were becoming more strewn with leaves and carrier bags and the car felt more wind drag, it is certainly a windy city tonight even in North Birmingham, some of our exposed trees look worser off than this morning, leaves on teh pavements, normally a sign of Autumn. At work we had a Thunderstorm but it wasn’t as bad as that, a few family members got caught in a storm in Brum. No really it is still summertime. The patern of extreme heat followed by extreme cold that I noted even before the summer kicked in is again repeating on us and is in sync with solar explusions. I read that the potential for further tornadoes has moved further North and Eastwards.

M-Class Flare from 786 a day before this freak Tornado
I had up until this point only seen the solar activity and freak weather as being weakly connected, today kinda confirms for me the sun earth connection as being something to take seriously. Coming a day after an M-Class solar flare and about 14 days after sunspot region 786 left us, only now to possibly return for a bigger sequel, could this tornado be start of a few weeks of wild weather. This event just like the GreatQuake of 2003 leads me into further interest in related subjects. One thing’s for sure the people who blame cars for global warming are gonna be out in force claiming how this is clear evidence that we are causing freak weather.
