Solar Rain - I’m so excited

Eagerly awaiting the delivery of a first of a kind book dealing with the Sun Earth Connection, I get this drop into my inbox along with news that the book has come from the printers and The sun certainly is spewing out some flares recently:

“No fewer than eight coronal mass ejections (CMEs) have exploded away from the sun since July 22nd:” See a small movie of recent far side sneezes from the sun here

“Modern telescopes have shown us that the Sun is an active, even violent place, with predictable and unpredictable cycles, and massive explosions that occasionally shower Earth’s magnetosphere. It is the source of the solar wind, responsible for what is now called “space weather.” In this book, Mitch Battros has drawn inferences about how this solar activity affects Earth weather and climate, both short-term and long-term. These are dialogues the scientific community needs to have because the stakes are high for all of us.” - Dr. Tom Van Flandern, Astronomer

When you consider this below is what’s comming from the other side of the Sun, we await to see what activity develops in the next few weeks and how our weather here on Earth fluxes.

Again this has nothing to do with my current issues with the Sun, but since the CME from sunspot region 786 and the sunspot counts of those regions there have been a record number of named Atlantic storms, our Summer here has taken a nose dive into almost the start of Spring; Temperatures have plumeted to low to high teens, at the end of July. It could be a blip in our climate or it could be stark evidence of how solar flares affect life on Earth, also following on from these sunspots we have had a majorly big escilation in violence across the world. The 7.2 Quake off the Nicobar Islands comes as little suprise coming only a week or so after 786 released a few M class flares and then an X-class flare to top it all off, the Sun has been giving us a bit more than a headache
