Physcologically this is it, this is summer, in Britian we were in May and it felt almost like winter, June started quite dismal too, and this weekend a mini heatwave has hit, meaning that now everyone is suddenly in the supermarkets grabbing summer stuff, jeans are out shorts are in, sunscreen for the kids, baby oil for the parents, am I missing something? I thought it was Christmas down at ASDA, had to queue to drive in and park, people were leaving with full garden tables and chairs the ice cream had sold out or was seriously depleted. Petrol is scarce around here too, everyone has filled up. Never ceases to amaze me how in chime the nation act to one beat.
Party for my nephew was really fun although I don’t get on with the heat at all so I had a very flakey day, will try and get some pictures up, but I’m shattered, mainly from the heat, it’s about 28oC in my room now. We’ve had some thunderstorms mainly non stop rolling thunder but as I was driving I saw some ground lightning strikes, I love storms, although i have heard of violent storms just up the road near Stoke.
