Busy and eventful week
Well that certainly was an eventful week that just passed. Tuesday I took my nan along to the women’s tennis tournament in Birmingham that is currently reaching its conclusion. My nan was thrilled to be going, it’s a lovely place as we walked in we saw some practice sessions before we took our seats on centre court for 6 hours of beautiful tennis. Match three saw defending champion Maria Sharapova regain her footing on her first match on grass since becoming the womens singles Wimbeldon champion last year.
This week saw my nephew figure out how to put mega block together, rather than pull them apart, he’ll be 1 very soon, already!
The week started with an appointment with a Macmillian psychologist, which was good because aside from blogging my frustration with Melanoma, I have faught with facts and understanding the facts and the probablities, trying to weigh up what my future holds, rather than focusing on the gooey emotional stuff that cancer brings with it, thus far I haven’t been able to express how deeply frustrating this form of cancer is, for anyone. Thursday saw the return of Turin Brakes to Birmingham, work has been pretty much ok this week and today has seen me drive for miles on end .. all in all a sucssesful and enjoyable week.
