I don’t think I’ve shared any photos on my personal blog of the tests I’ve been involved with for almost a year now, to find out if I have Narcolepsy since it was diagnosed in April this year and then undiagnosed out of fear of commitment. I was put on Narcoleptic treatments but still no word on if I’m Narcole … pt ……. sorry I fell asleep, what was I saying?
April and May were so hard for me to deal with because nobody believed a word I said about having Narcolepsy. But in January to March this year I was put through CT scanners, had EEG’s, they tried to trigger an Epileptic fit with no joy. I was put in a situation where everyone would fall asleep in about half an hour and it took me 2 minutes, I had a wonderful dream, I mean honest to god it’s obvious! The test lasted about 10 minutes and I was woken up because the lady was trying to stop my REM sleep.
I have more such tests this coming Thursday. Multiple Sleep Latency, I’m allowed to sleep every two hours! :D

The superglue is removed with nail varnish remover!
This photo shows the electrodes that were wired up to test me for Epilepsy at the start of this year. The tests that I’ve just had in hospital where I stayed overnight, were much more involed than this and had way more wires to deal with and I had to sleep as normal as possible with them connected. The electrodes were glued on to my head with super glue and removed with nail varnish remover.
Happy Happy Joy Joy. They are just waiting till my 30th birthday and the diagnosis of Narcolepsy is my birthday present. Thanks :)
